The optical ring is a unique and dynamic ring modulator. With a carrier frequency created by an internal optical theremin, and modulated by clipping LEDS, the sound can warp based on your attack. It has three controls: ring (a blend between fuzz and ring modulation), output (volume), and frequency (sets the pitch of the theremin oscillator). In addition, a gain toggle effects fuzz character and ring mod threshold, and a shift toggle opens up traditional robot-like ring modulation, glitchy fuzz, or stuttering tremolo sounds.
